The Importance Of Dog Supplements That Contain Glucosamine And Chondroitin

For animal lovers, nothing is as important as taking care of their pet’s health. At its most basic this includes yearly check-ups, up to date vaccinations, and grooming; but for many of us, there are other things that are absolutely necessary as well. One of these things is dog supplements, namely ones that include ingredients known to support the health of our best friends. Supplement that continues to grow in popularity are those that contain glucosamine and chondroitin, ingredients that are widely known to support joint health in both animals and humans.

Now you may be asking right about now: “Why haven’t I heard of using these products to support my pet’s joint health?” The main reason is that because they are not able to be patented, pet pharmaceutical companies have little incentive to actively develop dog supplements that include them. While they have been in use in Europe for nearly two decades, they are just starting to catch on here in the US. But as more and more pet owners and veterinarians are discovering the benefits of glucosamine and chondroitin to animal’s joint health, more and more products containing these ingredients are being developed and prescribed.

Glucosamine And Chondroitin Sulfate Plus For Stronger Bones

As one grows old, the cartilages in the joints of our body undergo a continuous process of breakdown and repair. Glucosamine chondroitin supplements are helpful in repairing our joints by providing new blocks of cartilage. Glucosamine is a precursor of glycosaminoglycan, which is a major component of joint cartilage and chondroitin sulphate is an important structural component of cartilage, which is essential for its resiliency. Glucosamine and chondroitin are believed to repair damaged cartilage, prevent cartilage degeneration, and stimulate the production of new cartilage. It is also believed to preserve joint integrity, and in effect stop osteoarthritis in its tracks.

The human body is capable of manufacturing both glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate readily. But the level of production of these two compounds might decrease as a person ages or in conditions like osteoarthritis. So, the strategy in supplementation is to increase the basic level of these two compounds in the body. The synthesis of glucosamine and chondroitin requires a substantial amount of sulphate. Glucosamine chondroitin supplements have glucosamine chondroitin & msm, where the MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane, an organic form of sulphur) functions as a natural source of sulphur.

The effect of these three supplements, glucosamine, chondroitin & msm, working together is believed to be much greater than one or two compounds taken separately. The glucosamine sulphate tablets also have fewer side effects than commonly used steroids that are used to relieve pain. So, taking these glucosamine chondroitin supplements is much safer for the digestive system.

Glucosamine chondroitin supplements are beneficial to both the young and the old for developing stronger bones. For young people, glucosamine chondroitin & msm helps build connective tissues, which may prevent arthritic conditions later in life. In fact, Glucosamine chondroitin supplements are also becoming popular among athletes, because these two compounds are thought to soothe painful joints and decrease the risk of osteoarthritis. Synflex Liquid Glucosamine for Joint Health

In order to get the most out of this supplement, an injection or liquid form is the best choice. Injections can be very expensive and painful, so many choose the liquid form. Liquid glucosamine can give a body a better absorption rate than tablets or pills.

Synflex glucosamine can help heal the area around the joints, making the joint function better. Athletes often use liquid Synflex glucosamine as a preventive measure. Athletes are more prone to joint damage after a grueling training session or a fierce competition. The glucosamine acts like a lubricant, and keeps the joints moving easily. This can help an athlete avoid cartilage damage that may occur from overuse of a particular joint.

Synflex glucosamine can help repair damaged cartilage due to injury or osteoarthritis. As our bodies grow older, our body does not produce as much Synflex glucosamine as it use to. This is why older people develop achy, stiff joints. Glucosamine supplements are a great way to get back the active lifestyle that a person had when they were younger. Liquid Synflex glucosamine is an inexpensive option for those who would like to avoid surgeries or painkillers.

When choosing a liquid Syn-flex glucosamine, it is important to look at the ingredients. MSM is a common ingredient often found in combination with Synflex glucosamine supplements. Chondroitin is also beneficial to the joints. Both ingredients are natural and can provide further joint support. It is best to avoid the liquid Synflex glucosamine supplements that are loaded with sugar. If the taste does not suit you, it can be mixed with sparkling water or juice to make it more palatable. A typical dosage is just one tablespoon once or twice daily.

Liquid Glucosamine

Do you suffer from arthritis or some form of joint pain like I used too? Can liquid glucosamine relieve the symptoms of arthritis and other joint pain?

For over 20 years I suffered lower back pain, and was prescribed various drugs like Celebrex, Voltaren and Vioxx for my problem. Now knowing the side effects of these drugs I was never keen to take them, and anyhow they really had minimal effect on my pain anyway.

My problem with lower back pain started with a wedged disc, which causes muscle spasms and crippling pain.

A visit to my physyotherapist one day led me to trying glucosamine after many years of pain. I tried glucosamine and chondroitin in pill form first and got more relief from it than any of the prescribed drugs before.

Like many people, after a long period of taking glucosamine and not experiencing the back pain I suffered from before, I stopped taking it. My mistake!

After a few months I started having problems again, I knew what I had to do. But this time I did a little more research first as I had heard about liquid glucosamine, and the fact it was more readily absorbed than glucosamine sulfate in pill form.
