EC starts poll exercise for Gujarat, Himachal; discusses troops with MHA

NEW DELHI: Kicking off the exercise to finalise assembly poll dates for Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, the Election Commission has requested the home ministry for around 60,000 central paramilitary personnel to watch over elections in the two states.
