Exercise helps combat chemo’s effects

New guidelines urge cancer survivors to exercise more, even, difficult as it may sound, those who have not yet finished their treatment. Growing evidence shows it can help fend off a serious decline in physical function that can last long after therapy is finished.

Incline Village cancer exercise program

Exercise for Energy classes begin at 12:30 Wednesday, July 30, at the Incline Village Community Hospital Physical Therapy and Medical Fitness center. The classes will be held from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays for six weeks.
