ContributorNetwork – COMMENTARY | As reported on MSN.com on Thursday, a new survey was released ranking each state and the percentage of its people who were classified as obese. The report was compiled by Trust for America’s Health, a non-profit, non-partisan group. Mississippi topped the list with over 33% of its population defined as obese. New Jersey ranked in the bottom ten with an obesity rate of 24.1%. But while the low ranking is a plus for the Garden State, the statistics are far from good news.
